Your ability to grow as a leader is based on your ability
to grow as a
person. - Anonymous
Coaching supports people in making
changes. How many times have you attended a training session
that was very good, even exciting, and gone back to work
determined to change your ways? How many times have you
actually changed your ways? How many of these changes have
been permanent?
You simply didn't get the follow up coaching
and support you needed to make permanent changes in your
life. All that can change with a coach.
As your coach Kim will:
- Encourage you to set goals that you truly
want
- Ask you to do more than you may have done
on your own
- Help you better focus in order to produce
results more quickly
- Provide you with the tools, support and
structure to accomplish more
- Offer useful distinctions for much greater
clarity
If you put a small value
on yourself, rest assured that the world will not
raise
your price. - Anonymous

Coaching is quickly becoming one of the leading
tools that successful people use to live extraordinary lives.
Through weekly coaching sessions, my clients identify what
is most important to them and align their thoughts, words,
and actions, accordingly. As your coach, I work with you
to identify what you want personally and professionally,
and support you in achieving a life that you really want
and love.
Most of us think of 'coaching' as part of
the sports professions or the arts field, in which a baseball
coach or a drama coach would coach an athlete or actor to
do and be their best. A coach will help you to do and be
your best in all areas of your life.
Coaches support, empower and hold her
clients accountable. A coach tells the truth with compassion.
A coach helps you define your vision, uphold your commitments
and access your passion. A coach assists her clients in making
their dreams come true. A coach is the ultimate Fearbuster.

Why do you need a coach? What benefit
can you expect?
I’m not saying you “need” a
coach…..but when people are good and they want to get
to great, many times the successful ones use a coach!
Can you imagine an olympic athlete attempting
to win a gold medal without a coach?
Michael Jordan worked with several different
coaches at the same time. Coaches support goal setting and
serve as accountability partners.
Working with a coach, you will:
- Produce results quickly by focusing efforts
- Have a balanced life
- Make better decisions with Emotional Intelligence
- Accelerate leadership development
- Have more sustainable energy
- Take more wise actions
- Build relationships
How Does Coaching Work?
Collaboration:
Coaching is a collaborative process, with
the coach and client working together on the client's dreams.
The synergy of the coaching process allows clients to
achieve much more, in a shorter period of time, than they
would alone.
These increased achievements will include:
- More awareness
- Improved communication skills
- Skill development
- Willingness to be yourself
- Increase proactive behaviors
- Decrease reactive behaviors
- Discovering your triggers
- Telling the truth
- Self discipline
- Freedom instead of fear
Coaching is a process that when embraced produces
results as a natural by-product. (Fearless Living Institute)
Empowerment and Support:
Individual clients brings to their coaching sessions their
ability to make powerful choices, their degree of awareness,
their level of commitment to any particular course of action
and their willingness to see themselves differently. Coaching
fosters a context of awareness that allows the client to
create solution-based strategies that strengthen his or her
personal power. Coaching is based on the premises that you
are whole and complete, with all the answers, solutions,
and possibilities within you. Coaching supports you in the
discovery of that information!
Based on this premise, clients take full
responsibility for their choices, attitudes and behaviors.
The coach becomes a partner in their process to access their
unlimited natural reservoir of talent and potential. The
coach supports this process through providing timely feedback,
offering different perspectives, asking thought-provoking
questions, pointing out the potential traps of fear, and
ensuring accountability. (Fearless Living Institute)
Structure:
The coaching structure and environment, with
its regular interactions and accountability, is designed
to assist you in optimizing your focus, decision-making,
and follow through on actions.
Each coach and client will determine the length
of sessions as well as the number that would produce the
level of change the client is seeking. Most sessions last
anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes with a 12 session minimum
while some clients seek support up to a year and a half.

- What can you hope to accomplish
with coaching?
You can make significant changes—fundamental and
permanent changes. You will evolve yourself. You can make
better decisions because you will have someone to collaborate
with who is both objective and nonjudgmental. You will
improve your relationships both at work and at home, and
will make a bigger impact in the world. You can become
happier and healthier with less harmful stress in your
life.
- What is necessary for coaching
to work?
Coaching is proven to work when two factors are
present:
1. You are willing to learn, grow and
take action.
2. There is a gap between where
you are now and where you want to be.
That is all that is necessary for a successful coaching
relationship where you can develop the right strategy,
implement a plan of action and achieve your goals. Anything
is possible!
- How is coaching different than
therapy or counseling?
Coaching is not therapy; it is individualized
teaching. Therapy goes into depth about various issues,
usually dealing with the past. Coaching is not consulting
which generally results in giving the client answers. Coaching
is more action-oriented and focuses primarily on the present
and future. You determine your own “answers” through
the work done in your coaching partnership. If issues are
discovered that might be better helped by a psychotherapist,
you will be asked to find a therapist. Coaching can work
hand in hand with therapy because the two disciplines focus
on different areas of your life. Therapy tends to focus
on your past and how it affects you now. Coaching focuses
on the present and how you can act now to make a difference.
- How is coaching done?
Coaching may be done individually or in groups.
Your organization may benefit from group coaching if you
have a group of people who are working together either
long or short term and need to find ways to work together
better. Individual coaching is focused on you and allows
you to discuss items in your area of concern.
You or your group will have conversations with Kim on the
telephone 2-3 times a month, depending on your agreement.
Kim may use assessment tools to help you learn more about
yourself and help her coach you more effectively.
- Is coaching popular?
Executive Coaching has been around for over twenty-five
years but was only available to corporate executives or
the wealthy. Over the past five years, there has been a
huge movement to integrate coaching throughout all levels
of an organization in order to access employees’ full
potential.
Throughout the world, corporate leaders, business owners,
executives and other professionals work with Executive
Coaches and Career Coaches to define and achieve their
next level of success.
These days, “ordinary people” from all walks
of life are forming powerful partnerships with their Life
Coaches - to access their untapped potential and get the
most of out of life. Everything from relationships to health
to creativity can be enhanced when working with a Coach.

- Who works with a coach?
Entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, and people
in transition are just some of the people who typically
work with a coach. Regardless of their professional endeavor
or place in life, all of Kim’s clients have one
thing in common; they are all successful, resourceful,
and intelligent individuals who want to get even more out
of their lives.
What professional athlete hasn’t used a coach
to win? Michael Jordan, one of the best, always understood
that value comes from having someone work directly with
him, someone to point out things he can’t see, someone
to keep encouraging and challenging him to achieve his
greatest potential. That is who Kim can be for you. Coaching
is like having a personal trainer for your life!

Your coach is someone who:
- Is a collaborative partner who is
invested in your optimal success.
- Listens without judgment and serves as
a sounding board.
- Acknowledges your unique qualities, talents,
skills, and experience.
- Assists you with simplifying your goals,
projects, and plans into practical steps that are user-friendly
and easy to perform.
- Supports you in taking risks that are
a natural part of growth and change.
- Works with you to connect anew with your
personal vision, core values, and sense of purpose.
- Shows you how to transform your negative
and limiting language, thinking and beliefs.
- Serves to “midwife” your most
powerful personal and professional expression.

Invest in Yourself

the benefits of reduced stress and improved performance that
come with coaching? Do you desire to be more effective in
your personal and professional relationships? Interested

And, congratulations on choosing to invest in the most valuable
resource in your life - yourself!

- Tolerations: What are
you putting up with? Believe it or not, you can create
a list of 5 to 500 things. A coach focuses you on what
you want to handle first. When you get rid of tolerations,
you will make progress and create momentum because your
energy will be freed up.
- Shoulds: Most of us have
a lot of ‘shoulds’ (personally and professionally),
yet we do not feel that we can readily toss them out, given
potential consequences. Our ‘shoulds’ may come
from others. The coaching process will educate you on how
much of your life is yours and how much of it is someone
else’s!
- Frustrations: What is
frustrating you? Do you even know? Feelings are a place
to start the coaching process because when you can identify
your feelings, the truth can begin to come out. Identifying
your fears can support you to do something about them.
- Changes: Your life is
changing quickly and you want to maintain a healthy perspective
while dealing with life’s surprises. Change will
happen, whether we acknowledge it or not.
- Desires: What do you really
want in your personal or business life? Success can be
stressful and getting what you really want is sometimes
a stretch. Maybe you want to take your relationships to
the next level of fulfillment. You want a connection in
your relationships but are not quite sure of what to do
next. A coach can help.
- Career: You may be considering
a career change or moving up the corporate ladder or starting
your own business. Maybe you want to gear down and create
something different.
- Results: You want more
results for the amount of work you put in. Many people
know exactly what they want and a coach will support you
to start moving towards it right away. Some people need
support to develop a strategy or a plan so they can achieve
results in the shortest period of time, with the least
stress.
- Dreams: You are ready
to make your dreams come true. What is the goal that you
have given up on or put off for a while? Would you like
to get it back?
- Goal Setting: You are
ready to identify and take action on realistic strategies
to accomplish what matters most to you.
- Time Management: You feel
you need more time or energy to get everything done, and
you’re ready to find out what fears are standing
in your way. (Coachville)
